Why is it important to take care of your trees?
Tree maintenance is essential since it allows them to stay healthy for longer. You will contribute to their optimal growth and to ensure that they remain safe. Our team is available for pruning, guying or felling trees.
Pruning
Formation pruning should be carried out in the first year after planting the tree, to establish its structure (main axis, main branches and height of the crown). This pruning, carried out in the right way, makes it possible to reduce the number of interventions necessary in the future.
Subsequently, the maintenance pruning of small trees is carried out for the aesthetic side, but also to maintain the health of the tree and lengthen its life expectancy. Our team will cut twigs and dead or weak branches, depending on the characteristics of each tree species.
Guying
Guying serves to reinforce the structure of the tree, partially or entirely. There are different ways to perform this intervention. Some methods involve the use of metal rods or screws, but these can damage the tree over time.
Our team will instead proceed with the Boa system: cables will be installed without drilling the structure of the tree. Their role is to limit the movement of the branches by supporting them together. This type of guy wire creates a more even balance of the tree.
Slaughter
Tree felling is a technique of last resort, when all other options are not possible. Felling is carried out when the diseased or dead tree poses a danger to people and surrounding structures.
With certified techniques, our team will proceed with the felling of a dangerous tree by dismantling and this in a safe manner for your belongings that are nearby. One by one, the pieces will be lowered to the ground quietly using retaining ropes. Before proceeding with the slaughter, we will analyze if other solutions can be considered.
